The workshop provided a vibrant and interactive learning space where UEH students could explore and unlock their hidden “superpowers” to conquer their academic journey. Accompanied by guest speaker Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung, she skillfully guided participants through four essential skill pillars:
Smart time management: Students were introduced to effective strategies such as the Pomodoro method, Time Blocking, and the Eisenhower matrix (Prioritizing urgent and important tasks). Dr. Dung emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, learning to say “no” to protect study time, and taking advantage of supporting technology applications.
Sharp critical thinking in the AI era: In the context of strong development of artificial intelligence, critical thinking skills become more important than ever. The speaker encouraged students to always ask questions, evaluate sources of information, and overcome cultural barriers to form solid arguments.
Effective exam review strategies: Instead of passive review, Dr. Dung introduced the “Active Recall” method by turning notes into questions, using flashcards, and teaching knowledge to others. Tips for preparing before and on exam day were also shared in detail.
The power of self-love in studying: A special highlight of the workshop was the importance of self-care. Students were inspired to prioritize physical and mental health, celebrate small progress, create a positive learning environment, and practice self-compassion.
Throughout the workshop, the atmosphere was always open with discussions, practice exercises, and experience sharing from the students themselves. You have actively participated in identifying your strengths and weaknesses, self-assessing your time management skills, and contributing to the common treasure trove of exam preparation tips.
