UNIVERSITY ENROLLMENT 2024: Design Your Future from Day One #2: Four study program options you must understand before becoming a UEH freshman

With the diversification of training programs, suitable for different abilities of learners and aiming at the goal of training global citizens, at UEH, learners are given the freedom to choose to study entirely in Vietnamese, partly in English, fully in English or integrated dual majors. Freedom to choose the future right from the start as a UEH student “I am who I choose to be” – “I am who I choose”!

1. Group of training programs in Vietnamese

A training program entirely in Vietnamese includes 53 training programs at KSA (studying in Ho Chi Minh City) and 15 training programs (studying in Vinh Long). This group also has the following characteristics:

Students are trained in a series of soft skills suitable for the actual needs of businesses;
Students are equipped with conditions for higher education (master’s, doctoral students);
Graduation certificate states “Bachelor” or “Engineer”.
2. Partial English training program group

This is a training program with a minimum of 15 credits of subjects taught in English. Particularly for the Accounting program integrated with international professional certificates (of the professional organizations ICAEW and ACCA), students will study from 13 to 14 modules in English depending on their choice. Therefore, this group of training programs has high international connectivity, making it easy for learners to develop a higher learning path in international environments or become personnel working in a multinational environment. New students of Course 50 are recommended by experts to choose to study in English, depending on their own abilities to maximize their international capacity, ready to become global citizens.

Characteristics of the group of partial English training programs:

Graduation certificate clearly states “Bachelor’s Degree/Engineering Degree … (Partial English Program”).
The diploma appendix clearly states “Bachelor’s Degree/Engineering Degree… (Partial English Program) and “Internationally Accredited Program according to…” (depending on the program the candidate chooses).
English entry requirements for the partial English program: Average grade 12 English score from 7.0 or English test score in the 2024 high school exam from 7.0 or higher.

3. Group of full English training programs

This is a training program taught entirely in English except for 11 credits of political theory, physical education, and national defense education. The conditions for students to be able to study full English training programs at UEH are specifically as follows: IELTS from 5.0 or higher or pass the English proficiency test organized by UEH.

Characteristics of the group of full English training programs:

The diploma clearly states “Degree Bachelor’s Degree/Engineering Degree… (Full English Program”).
The diploma appendix clearly states “Bachelor’s Degree/Engineering Degree… (Full English Program) and “The program is internationally accredited according to…” (depending on the program the candidate chooses).

Some other benefits of the Partial English Program and Full English Program:

Priority is given to arranging prestigious lecturers with teaching methods that focus on positive thinking and interaction with students in class.
The facilities are invested by UEH with quality equipment to ensure good service for teaching and learning, classrooms are equipped with air conditioners throughout the course, priority is given to access to the latest documents of the library and international joint programs.
Priority is given to dormitories for students in the current facilities of UEH.
Size: about 40 – 50 students/class.
