Following the Meet & Greet career counseling activity at UEH Day 2025 for high school students in Khanh Hoa province, UEH continues to coordinate with Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted to organize the STEM 101 Innovation Competition from July 28 to August 19, 2025. With the participation of 15 potential teams, the competition is not only a practical academic playground, but also a journey to inspire passion for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) among young people.
Overview of 02 days of training workshop from July 28 to July 29
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truong Thinh – Director of the Institute of Smart and Interactive Technology, UEH School of Technology and Design shared, “STEM is one of the key areas that the Party and State pay special attention to, clearly shown in Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation. This is not only a development trend in Vietnam but also a strategic foundation for many countries in the world. Through this STEM competition, UEH hopes to equip students with highly applicable green technology knowledge, while at the same time arousing the spirit of innovation, nurturing sustainable development thinking in parallel between individuals and the community, thereby making practical contributions to the locality and the region”.

With the theme “Green Tech for Sustainable Future”, the two-day training program aims to equip students with a solid foundation in STEM through activities that combine theory and practice.
Training content includes:
Foundations of STEM in robotics and AI
Introduction to Arduino and basic programming
Programming Arduino with sensors, LCD screens, motors and multi-devices
Connecting Arduino to Python
Controlling devices with Arduino and Python
